The Group’s responsible growth is based, in particular, on the development of long lasting, constructive relationships with all its stakeholders, a dynamic innovation policy and demanding ethical imperatives.
The Group participates in the development and promotion of correct ethical practices and their compliance both at the French and international level. It advocates zero tolerance with respect to unethical conduct and has set up an integrity program which places particular emphasis on relationships with the Group’s partners, by urging them to comply with and promote a set of shared anti-corruption principles.
As part of its corporate mission statement, the Group has a Purchasing and Supply Chain policy based on the sustainability and openness of exchanges with its industrial partners and suppliers. DCNS has set up a Charter on Relations with Suppliers and Subcontractors. It has also deployed a Code of Conduct for Suppliers to encourage them to deploy a CSR process within their own infrastructure.
The Group has initiated the implementation of a SME plan which aims to ensure that the manufacturers making up their reference panel are fairly treated. DCNS has also signed the Innovative SME Charter introduced by the Ministry for Productive Recovery and the SME Defense Pact, a bilateral agreement with the Ministry of Defence which aims to promote the growth, innovation and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and intermediate-sized enterprises.
In the Research and Development field, DCNS has adopted a 30-year strategic roadmap. In this respect, the Group forms partnerships with civil actors in the research and industry sectors and participates in numerous joint research and development projects. The Group is also an active member in several competitive clusters which contribute towards the dynamism of the French industrial sector and encourage high-tech innovation.
